My working life began in 1980s Auckland, New Zealand as an assistant distiller. My interest in the alcohol industry grew beyond both gin, and New Zealand, overseeing joint venture operations based in Australia, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
Products additional to gin included scotch, bourbon, rum, vodka, alcoholic sodas and premixed drinks.
Passing these skills on to the next gin generation is the fuel that drives my sense of purpose: to create new legacies for centuries-old narratives.
